ATI Networks Begins Project for Goodwill Industries

Fond du Lac, WI, October 21, 1998 - ATI Networks Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ATIW) today announced that Goodwill Industries has contracted for ATI's LOGITRAK vehicle tracking and satellite system in their Washington DC headquarters. Goodwill Industries' trucks and vehicles throughout the country have been targeted by thieves and vandals over past years resulting in losses in the millions of dollars. With ATI's LOGITRAK system, Goodwill's vehicles will be monitored by GPS tracking, and their locations instantly relayed to the office's central dispatch by Orbcomm's LEO communications satellites. The Washington DC site will serve as the first location to be installed. Goodwill has over 1500 retail stores throughout North America.

ATI Networks first introduced LOGITRAK in December 1995. It was widely acclaimed at 1995 Fall Internet World as the first commercially available system to provide users with real-time mobile data communications from a dial-up Internet connection. In August 1998, LOGITRAK was enhanced to use Orbcomm’s new Low-Earth Orbiting network of 28 communications satellites. The LEO network virtually eliminates the dead zones that previously existed with other wireless systems, now making communications possible anywhere in the world.
